The 40 Apprentice in Training Course

The Laser Hair Removal program begins with a 40-hour theory lesson titled: Apprentice in Training. This class will can be done be self-paced online or Infacility Apprentice in Training is the first portion of training required by TDLR to obtain your Laser Hair Removal License. It is also the first course we encourage this course for students who desire to enter the Medical Aesthetics industry, as it lays the foundation for all cosmetic laser devices. Learn The three main layers of the skin and cells, client history and each of its functions. Students will learn how to carefully select the client's laser modality by using the Fitzpatrick Skin scale, client assessment history, and client evaluation. Hair growth cycles and preparing you to understand the 3 hair growth stages for optimal results with laser hair removal. All students will understand and identify the structures of the hair follicles and medical hair disorders.

Level 2

The Laser Hair Removal Technician Course

Now you can Advance to this portion of the program and perform laser hair removal treatments. Per TDLR regulations, You must perform 100 Laser Hair Removal services while supervised by a certified LHR Instructor. The student will be start with a quick recap of previously learned information. Then the students will conducting their very first 100 treatments at IN facility. The student will perform 100 treated areas on 4 different live models (1 hour treatment per model) under the direct supervision of either a Registered Senior or Registered Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician.

Level 3

The Laser Hair Removal Senior Technician Course

Upgrading your Laser Hair Removal license is not required to operate a laser hair removal device; however, it is highly recommended to both expand your laser skills and open your own facility. Upgrading your license is required for individuals who either: Open a laser hair removal facility, in which one full-time Laser Hair Removal Professional (next tier) is required Would like to be a trainer and sign off on the 100-body sites for an Apprentice in Training. (Only a licensed Senior or Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician may supervise an Apprentice in Training) During this 2-day course, you will assist the LHR instructor in supervising the Apprentice in Training student(s). You will learn how to perform the duties listed in the Laser Safety Officer description and identify potential laser hazards for the student and the facility. Get lofts of practical Theory, knowledge, and training to get the Technical acquainted with real life working environment. Learn the next level of Client Charting and history, practice conducting client consultations, and verification of all client forms and consents to be completed The attendee will be taught to determine treatments and treatment planning depending on client skin type, addressing pre and post treatment considerations. As well as documenting treatments and treatment plan for client.

Level 4

he Laser Hair Removal Professional Course/Exam

The Professional Laser Hair Removal License is the highest level of laser hair removal a technician can achieve. The Laser Hair removal instructor will review guidelines, skin reactions, treatment protocols, treatment planning and documentation. hazards. sanitation. how to handle emergencies, post exposure protocol, post exposure follow up, assessment of clients preexisting conditions, current medications, explanation of anesthesia. medical considerations and contraindications. Texas State and Federal Regulations. and protocols pertaining to hair removal licensure. In order to receive this license you must complete and pass a written exam with a minimum score of 70%.
